As our first Senior Business Development & Partnerships Manager, you won’t just fill a seat you’ll shape our future. You’ll uncover new growth paths, forge win-win deals, and build the partnerships that keep TelTalk humming.
What You’ll Do
- Spot & Target
- Dive into industries like SaaS, fintech, or healthtech and pinpoint the companies that need us most.
- Keep a dynamic list of 50+ prospects so nothing valuable slips through the cracks.
2. Connect & Spark Interest
- Send thoughtful, human emails and LinkedIn messages that get replies (no spammy templates!).
- Aim for 5–8 real conversations each month, where you listen first, then propose solutions.
3. Close & Celebrate
- Own every step: craft proposals, negotiate win-win terms, and seal deals worth at least $200K ARR each quarter.
- High-five the team when a new partner signs on!
4. Onboard & Wow
- Team up with our internal teams to set up updates.
- Work with Customer Success to give partners a five-star welcome (training guides, playbooks, the works).
5. Nurture & Grow
- Run quarterly check-ins to share wins, track KPIs (call volumes, response times, upsell ideas), and spot new opportunities.
- Help partners expand their use of our services by 20% yearly.
6. Track & Tweak
- Keep our CRM system squeaky-clean: all your deals, next steps, and forecasts in one place.
- Send us weekly snapshots and monthly forecasts—so we all stay on the same growth page.
- Always be on the lookout for smarter outreach scripts or faster deal cycles.
Who You Are
- Seasoned Pro: You’ve done 5+ years of B2B biz-dev or partnerships—bonus if you’ve worked in telecom, SaaS, or BPO.
- Deal Dynamo: You’ve negotiated $200K+ ARR contracts and know how to balance value for the client and our bottom line.
- People-First: You build real relationships—your communication is clear, patient, and persuasive.
- Data-Driven: You love CRMs, dashboards, and using numbers to tell a story.
- Startup Spirit: You thrive in fast-changing environments, roll up your sleeves, and see “obstacles” as “exciting puzzles.”
